Invisalign

Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted – without braces. Schedule your complimentary consultation with Dr Taryn to find out if Invisalign is right for you.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners to enhance your smile. Each aligner is programmed with gradual movement to allow your teeth to align.

Many patients enjoy the aligners because they move teeth like braces, but they're less visible. The removable aligners also allow for fewer food restrictions during treatment.

The aligners are made from a 3D scan of your teeth we'll take in our office. Dr Taryn then works with an external lab technician to perfect your digital treatment plan before we make your aligners.

Dr Taryn has done intensive studies on the movement that can be done using aligners and is able to straighten your teeth as effectively as can be done with braces.

Why would I want Invisalign?

Not only are the aligners invisible, but they are also removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem.

Our Invisalign patients are able to see us for appointments less frequently than traditional braces patients.

How does Invisalign work?

You wear each set of aligners for about one week, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, week by week until they have straightened to their final positions.

You'll visit us about once every eleven weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Your total treatment time depends on the amount of movement you need to achieve your best results. We'll scan and request additional sets aligners as treatment progresses to ensure you receive the best result possible.

What is invisalign?

The Invisalign system is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth and achieve the smile you've always wanted. Using advanced 3D computer imaging technology, Invisalign depicts your complete treatment plan, from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position.

Then, a series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth and your teeth only to move them little by little. Each aligner is worn for about one week before being replaced by the next in the series until the final position of your teeth is achieved.Your Invisalign treatment time will be determined by your doctor based on your specific needs.

What are the primary benefits of invisalign?

Invisalign aligners can achieve the same results as braces, but provide you with a different method of getting that beautiful smile. Invisalign aligners are clear (no one should even notice that you're wearing braces), making Invisalign a seamless fit with your lifestyle and day-to-day interactions with others. Invisalign is removable. Unlike braces, you have the flexibility to eat and drink what you want during treatment simply by removing the aligners when you eat.

You can also remove the aligners to brush and floss as you normally would for fresh breath and good oral hygiene. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign does not use metal brackets or wires that could cause irritation to your mouth. You'll also spend less time in the doctor's chair and scheduling appointments, and more time out doing the things you love. Lastly, Invisalign allows you to view your virtual results and treatment plan before you start your treatment so that you can preview how your straight teeth will look once your treatment is complete.
